		Elvis made most of his 31 movies in the l960s. Generally, the movies received poor reviews but were loved by fans?and made money.1 Elvis' first movie was a musical western, Love Me Tender.1 Most of Elvis's films were musical comedies with similar plots.1 Still, he looked and sounded good.1 Two of his non-musical films still had him performing at least a song in each one.1 Elvis appeared in dramatic films, and reportedly, he wanted to continue in those types of movies. His last feature film role was in Change of Habit in 1969.
